The Gingerbread truffle is an enchanting treat that celebrates the cozy and familiar flavours of the festive season. Central to this truffle is a smooth, buttery caramel, flavoured with the warming spices of gingerbread - cinnamon and ginger.

A rich, buttery caramel is infused with NZ's own Opito Bay Salt and the seeds of premium vanilla beans from the Comoros Islands. The vanilla adds a floral note that lifts the caramel, accentuating its deep, burnt sugar flavours. This luscious filling is encased in a shell of organic 40% milk chocolate, whose creaminess provides an excellent counterpoint to the sweet and salty caramel.

These are so pretty - can't imagine actually hanging them on a tree (they don't last long enough!!). Sadly one was broken in transit, but we had 2 so we could taste one while admiring the beauty of the other. A pretty, special and tasty festive treat!
